How to Setup the Wireless Box

Step 1: Install the Right App

If you purchased a Wifi box, you need to download the App. You can scan the QR code here and download it through the browser.

Please choose the app that matches your phone. For example, if you own an iPhone, select the iOS app.

Alternatively, in the iOS store or Google Play, search for the app “Wifiimage”.

Step 2: Connect & Turn On the Wireless Box

Insert the lens' cable to the Wifi Box.

Hold down the button briefly to turn it on. Note: a quick press of the button takes a photo.

Step 3: Wifi Connection

Open up the wireless connection setting on your phone. Search for Wifi hotspot signals. You’ll get one of three names.

If you see ! (exclamation mark) after the wifi signal like this:

It means the phone can’t see an internet signal. This won’t affect the use of Endosnake.

If you see F140, connect and enter the password 12345678

If you see XJ-WIFIBOX-xxx, connect and enter the password 88888888

If you see WIFIImage_xxx, connect (there’s no password)

Once connected, the EndoSnake App will show what the camera sees.

Be sure to increase the resolution for clearer visuals. If the visual has any odd delays, please adjust the channels in the software settings and/or lower the resolution.

Common Problems

  1. Some mobile phones have exclamation marks after WiFi connection, which means that the mobile phone can not identify the signal on the Internet, does not affect the use of mobile phones. If a few mobile phones can not be used, automatic identification can be turned off in the WLAN+
  2. If there is a black screen, please check whether the mobile phone is allowed to open when the software is installed, and check whether the lens is normal.
  3. If picture delay occurs, channel can be adjusted in software settings, or output resolution can be adjusted appropriately.
  4. It's better not to use the product while punching. If you don't need it for a long time, please keep it as full of electricity as possible.
  5. Updated version of mobile phone system may lead to black screen screen, and software can be downloaded and used again. If not solved, feedback information can be given to store "mobile phone model + system version". We will update the software in time.
  6. 10S mobile phone users can search "Wifiimage" and Android phone users can search in Google Play to.
